Desserts were plentiful with staples like trifle and Mango pudding still going strong, along with the cheesecakes and chocolate fountain for which you could make your own skewers of fruit and marshmallows. Not to say you couldn’t go back for more…which many did. Big change was people serving the shrimp and crab legs and limiting it per serving. Good selection of extras with chilli sauce, mustards and au jus to name a few. The chow main noodles looked very good though did not try. Braised chicken was a little dry and bland.

The star was the fried squid which was light, crispy and with a little extra chilli oil induced a pleasant burn to your mouth. Roast veggies/potatoes and slow cooked beef was available too. The lobster poutine was well seasoned but finding lobster was a little challenging. The Tandoori Salmon cakes over the Shrimp rice was a good pairing as the salmon had the lightest hint of spices almost making it more of a Korma. The selection was a varied as ever but the whole vibe was a lot more organized and relaxed. Quickly seated with drinks and told to go and enjoy. Doors opened early and the hostess and team of servers were attentive and efficient. No more fighting for the crab legs, lobster or shrimp.
